First CD-R by visual artist and bassplayer of Eklin. His ambient songs combine dark melodic synths, with androgynous soul vocals. The clean sounds and production give the music a stark and detached feeling. The opening track 'Fire' sounds almost like 'Rundgang um die transzendentale Säule der Singularität' found on Burzum's 'Filosofem'. But the vocals take it to a totally different zone with chopped and screwed slowed down female voices (or pitched up male vocals?).
In Dutch Woud means woods and when listening to this disc you can imagine him being lost in the vast dark forests of Norway. Cold and desperate, softly singing old rave classics to himself.
Comes with a beautiful black and white poster featuring a drawing of mr. Woud.
